The year of exciting projects

I haven’t been able to do much of personal projects lately. There is a queue of undeveloped super 8 films that I have shot since spring and they are calling me from inside their box.

I shall respond to their call as soon as I am in a good place with other works.

I am busy with two very interesting projects and each one is special in its own way .I am also learning a lot as I progress. One project takes me to the majestic Yarner woods and in the process I got the chance to know the works of Ingrid Pollard and will be documenting some collaborative art project.

And another project will take me to Art and Heritage centres in different regions and I will be able to talk to amazing people who have contributed in to different aspects of arts.

Each project has its own pace. One slow and steady and one that needs to finish in by end of October.

In the meantime, we are trying to start a series of film screenings with Beef. There will be more about that.

I feel lucky and content. I try to keep a balance between being a good mother and doing the best I can for the work that I love.
