The Year of the Pangolin

It is the Nowruz Holiday in Iran and in UK it has been the first week of Corona virus isolation .It is the year of the rat based on Chinese calendar but in fact, it is the year of Pangolin globally. Being the mediator for a very persistent corona virus who has already tried to spread itself in the previous years, the Pangolins have every right to teach us some lessons about what we have been doing to the planet, animals and ourselves. We are paying a high price, loosing loved ones, loosing brave health workers, losing jobs and livelihoods but in our times of isolation, there is time for reflection and revision of the ways of our lives. The nature is forcing us to reset. The nature is stronger and we needed to be reminded.
I miss my mum. I wish she was here and we could share and talk about the strange experience of a pandemic. But I am not sure if she would have been safe, if she was still ill. I like to start writing letter to her.
It is hard being away from my dad. I am looking forward the peak of virus to pass and I rush to visit him.
Jonah will be 3 years old soon. He has been through a lot of emotional and global ups and downs for his 3 years of age.
