A summer like no other

It is a glorious summer. I have not seen anything like it since I have been in this country.11 years.
We go to park. Under the trees, the leaves shake by the wind. Jonah laughs with joy. He loves the sounds of leaves and the branches moving. I try to do a little drawing. He can now climb over me and really wants to play with all the pens. I look at him and there is warm happy feeling running in my veins, under my skin. I love the little man. All those hard days, when Sophie died and the other times. It was all to feel this simple moment of joy. It is dense, strong and yet a very mundane moment. A mum and a son under a tree. Life is all about how many of these dense moment you can get and how much you realise them and are grateful for them.
There is always something sad lurking underneath .Never knowing what or when it will pop up.
