my best of encounters

Well, encounters almost finished. After watching Emerging Talents with all its bad works and good works and having my eyes flashed out to blind in the very experimental Animate Awards I am willing to announce my best animation piece: Life Size Zoetrope. The initial idea of making a human size zoetrope( Mark Simon Hewis) and having the people pass in order to achieve the animation is great and also the 36 page books in their hands that creates the other animation. It’s almost like two animations within each other.
One question still remains from last year: why should people clap after every film? I don’t mean people being rude or something but I think you don’t need to clap for everything with the same effort...it’s not even honest if you look at it morally!
I have started animating and now I see that it’s going to be a very tough month.I am not sure if puppet tool will work out for all the shots and I have a feeling I relied so much on that..One major rule for now: don’t get stuck with one hard piece. Have a balance of easier and harder shots. That’s the diet.
